At STARING (MAKMARK BUSINESS COMPANY, S.L., Tax ID B66609231) we want your shopping experience to be a satisfying one. This Returns Policy sets out the procedure, time limits and conditions applicable to the right of withdrawal and to the legal guarantee of the products purchased on www.staring.es. This policy complements Section 8 (Right of withdrawal) and Section 9 (Legal guarantee of conformity) of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. Right of withdrawal

A customer acting as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within a period of 16 calendar days from the date of delivery of the order, without needing to give a reason and without penalty. This period is longer than the legal minimum of 14 calendar days established in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the recast text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users.

2. Returns procedure

To speed up the handling of your return, we recommend using the returns form and sending it, together with the product, to the following address:

Using this form makes it easier to process your request, but it is not compulsory: under consumer protection law, you may also notify us of your decision to withdraw by any other unequivocal statement addressed to Staring (for example, an email or a letter) within the period indicated in section 1.

3. Exclusions and product conditions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to special orders or products made to the customer's specifications.

The product must be returned with its complete original packaging (box, documentation, accessories) and, where they exist for reasons of hygiene or health protection, with any security seals intact.

The customer may inspect the product in the same way as they would in a physical shop. If the product shows signs of handling or use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, Staring may apply a deduction from the refund, proportional to that loss in value, instead of rejecting the return.

4. Refunds

Once the returned product has been received, Staring will check its condition against the criteria set out in section 3 and will issue the refund using the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from the date on which the customer notified their decision to withdraw. Staring may withhold the refund until it has received the returned product back, or until the customer has provided proof of having sent it back, whichever is earlier. The direct cost of returning the product shall be borne by the customer.

5. Defective items (legal guarantee)

In the case of items with a manufacturing defect (lack of conformity), the consumer is entitled, under the three-year legal guarantee provided for in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, to choose between repair or replacement of the product at no cost, unless one of these options is impossible or disproportionate compared with the other. If repair or replacement is not possible, or is not carried out within a reasonable time, the consumer may request a price reduction or termination of the contract.
